Event Series: Watercolor Hand Built Platter 8-23-25 and 9-13-25 Watercolor Painting on Hand Built Platter -2-day Workshop

Day 1 – August 23, 2025, 3-6PM The first of this 2-session series is a hand building platter workshop led by Carolee Stearns. You will create your own platter that will be the canvas for the second session of watercolor glazing. Day 2 – September 13, 2025, 3-6PM Day 2 of the series is a class from local artist, Amy Berringer, on watercolors. You will use the bisque fired platter that you created in Day 1 as the canvas for this watercolor painting tutorial. Amy will provide a tutorial on how to paint sunflowers on your hand made platter. All materials will be supplied. You will be given a set of paint brushes to use and keep. A selection of watercolor Amaco Moist Cake glazes will be available. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats: the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka’s rules in the factory… or suffer the consequences.
