2026, A Year for Class Action

And we mean "Class Action" in a good way! Interest in arts classes of all kinds is on the rise. We expect continuing local opportunities for both instructors as well as students as this new year brings reflection on how to enhance wellbeing through creativity and entertainment.

For instructors: Watch for new spaces and sponsors to help expand their programming to include visual, performing and literary classes, workshops and camps. Be sure that your Loudoun Arts Directory listing includes your teaching offerings, awards, and experience.

For students: Take the plunge and enroll to learn a new avenue of expression through the arts — play the ukulele, try tap dancing, experiment with a new sculpting medium. The continued implementation of the Loudoun Comprehensive Arts Plan (unanimously passed by our Board of Supervisors in 2025) supports this trend of increased arts programming.
