CRAFT Theatre Co. is a homegrown theatre company blending performance of the modern with appreciation for the historic. We work with professional and amateur theatre practitioners alike to create collaborative, high-quality contemporary productions in Loudoun County, Virginia.

Our specialty is classes, workshops, and camps that synthesize art, history, and theatre to help artists hone their craft with appreciation and perspective. Exploring themes of community, connection, authenticity, and the struggle to find these things in the modern world makes our residency at Faith Chapel Gathering Place for All a perfect match. Come for the show, stay for cookies and conversation.

Current initiatives include full productions of modern/contemporary musicals and straight plays, monthly Contemporary Play Reading Club, and New Play Development Program ($1,000 microgrant to one DMV-based playwright each year, dramaturgy sessions to strengthen one of their works for public performance, and a staged reading and reception of the final work).
