Quentin Walston is a pianist, composer, and music educator living in Loudoun County, Virginia. Quentin is the current artist-in-residence at Rust Library.
Rust Library's first COLLAB Artist-in-Residence, Quentin Walston, is composing a new musical piece, entitled "Loudoun Pastorale." Walston is collaborating with local painters on his new project. Images of paintings of the Loudoun countryside will be part of the ensemble performance of the finished piece (to be performed at Rust Library at noon on the first day of Spring, Saturday, March 21).
Frank Stopa is a Washington DC area fine art photographer specializing in landscape, travel and underwater imagery. Frank is the current artist-in-residence at Brambleton Library.
Photographer Frank Stopa will be the Artist-in-Residence at Brambleton Library from January through March. As part of his project "Portait of a Community," Stopa needs volunteers willing to have their portrait taken. His finished project will be an original collage of photos, creating a unique vision of Loudoun County to be shown by the Loudoun Arts Council and Brambleton Library.
