"Seeking Light" by Terri Parent Terri Parent creates fine art photography using a digital camera and an iPhone. When creating a photograph she looks for great composition, imaginative colors, interesting details, a story waiting to be told. Technology changes every day and the digital editing tools and iPhone apps provide endless opportunities to enhance, change and create a photograph.
"Autumn at Colvin Mill" by Terri Parent Terri’s photography is simply a reflection of her beliefs: every day is a gift. She strives to capture moments in time both ordinary and extraordinary. Look at the whole and define the point of interest. It is the artistry of a photograph that makes an emotional and visual connection.
"Embrace" (Last Breath Series) by Terri Parent Inspiration is everywhere. A falling leaf, shelves of beautiful fabric, the wrinkled face of a sage grandmother, a morning sky golden as a Turner painting, a stylish window display on Fifth Avenue. Many of her works are printed on canvas to make a bold and dramatic statement. Terri also has an extensive collection of cards and fabric created from her photography. Terri’s work can be seen by private appointment, at Vintage Magnolia in Leesburg, and at the Gateway Gallery in Round Hill.
